About The Artists
Joseph Catanzaro and Kathleen Patrick are the owners and artists of Chicago Skyline Art. The gallery primarily focuses on their work, but from time to time features the work of other Chicago artists.
The two artists were selected as "Artists of the Year" for two consecutive years, by the Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau (CCTB) because of their very popular series of Chicago Cityscape Paintings.
The CCTB purchased both originals and prints of the Chicago paintings to present to corporate leaders and visiting dignitaries. The skyline works were also presented to prominent figures in the government of Chicago upon a number of occasions.
Disney Studios
The Chicago Skylines caught the attention of major corporations, including Disney Studios. One of the cityscapes, "Chicago Summer Sunset", was licensed as a 9' x 12' installation. It was seen in virtually every episode of "Shake it Up Chicago".
