This is a corner of one of our canvas paintings - "A Golden Light". This painting, and all our paintings, are on a gallery wrapped canvas and the painting image continues around the sides. Choose from either 3/4 inch or 1.5 inch sides, and they come ready to hang. Framing is an option should you wish.
We use only acrylic paints, mediums and varnishes - all are the same high-end brand - Golden Artists Colors - whose quality is unsurpassed. All of the paints and mediums are archival, and each product contains UV filters so that fading from sun damage is not possible. We choose to use acrylic paints rather than oils because of their permanence - oil paints yellow and become brittle over time, and require regular maintenance by a professional. Additionally, acrylic paints offer more versatility and are often used for mixed media work. We can mix different materials into the paint, including gels, pumice, and a great variety of textural mediums. A satin, non-glare, UV light protective acrylic varnish is applied as the final touch to all paintings.
