About Our Paintings

    Our paintings
This is a corner of one of our paintings - "A Golden Light" -  This painting, and all our paintings, are on a gallery wrapped canvas and the painting image continues around the 1 and 1/2 inch sides, so that no framing is required. It comes ready to hang.  Framing is an option should you wish.

    Our Guarantee

We offer a 100% money back guarantee. Simply return the painting within 14 days of receiving it for a full refund.

    Our materials and craftmanship

We use only acrylic paints, mediums and varnishes, all of the same brand which is renowned among contemporary painters.  All of the paints and mediums are archival for 200 years, and each product contains UV filters so that fading from sun damage is not possible. We choose to use acrylic paints rather than oils because of their permanence - oil paints yellow and become brittle over time, and require regular maintenance by a professional.  Additionally, acrylic paints offer more versatility and are often used for mixed media work. Artists can mix different materials into the paint, including gels, pumice, and a great variety of textural mediums.

All our paintings are created by either Kathleen Patrick or Joseph Catanzaro. We use the finest archival acrylic paints available as well as the best commercially produced pre-stretched artist canvases. All our paintings have a soft, satin non-glare finish that is UV protective. All of our materials are produced in the U.S.

    Stretched canvas

All our canvasses are stretched and ready to hang, meaning that high grade canvas has been wrapped around a kiln dried wooden frame (the ''stretcher''). Stretched canvases typically do not require framing. Certainly they can be framed, and we are happy to provide recommendations.

    One of a kind

Each of our paintings is a one-of-a-kind artwork -  a unique piece handmade by the artist. There is only one in existence. The work may be part of a series, however the piece itself is unlike any other.
