From the artist: "The view for this painting is from our 23rd floor art studio which has windows that face three directions. I painted this piece looking south, captivated by the John Hancock. I chose blue to be the dominant color. The color blue represents both the sky, the nearby Lake Michigan, and is also associated with imagination. The incredible imagination it took for these buildings to exist!"
